Varmint Hunter’s Match

September 12, 2010

 Work Bee is scheduled for August 19th at 5:30pm to trim the brush on the sides of the range and to hang new cardboard.

3D Shoot: The July match drew 30 archers bringing a revenue of $202.00 to the club. We has a great turn out for set up and take down. Thanks for all the help! Our final 3D match of the year will be the 22nd of August with set up on the 21st. Come out and tune up for deer season.

4H Shooting Sports

Muzzle loading will started on June 22nd, 6-8pm and will run every Tuesday through August, event will be held on the 50 yd. range. Open to the Public. There are 8 kids going to State on August 7th 2 for muzzle loading and the rest for riffle. 22 riffle is started on the 6th of July.

Hunter Safety:

Registration start at 9am until class is full.

Classes are 8:45AM-4:00PM both days

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED TO 65 STUDENTS

August 28th registration for

September 11th – 12th class.

September 18th registration for September 25th – 26th class.

Tri City Warm up will be held on the 50 yard range on Sunday August 29th 1-4,Leagues start at River Raisin on the 14th of September and runs to the end of the year. The leagues are held every other Tuesday.

Bull Shooters league starts on 21st of September and will continue to run until March/April of next year. The time is 5-8pm at the LCCL Gun building.

These events are open to the Public and are also held every other Tuesday opposite of the Tri City.

GOSAFE: Meetings will be held the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm. New members welcome, come and see what it’s all about.

The Lenawee County Friends of NRA are looking for used outdoor items of all types. Hunting, fishing, camping, boating, archery and sporting goods can be dropped off at Johnson’s sporting goods at 36654 N. Adrian Hwy. on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of the month from March thru September, 9:00am till 1:00. A Tax Deductible receipt for the fair market value will be given and a chance to win a $100.00 gift cert. A yard sale will be held Labor Day Weekend with all proceeds used to fund Friends of NRA shooting projects.
